| Jay-Jay Wins Deaf Strokeplay at Canon KZN Disabled Open |
Jay-Jay Botha produced a strong two-round performance to claim the Deaf Strokeplay title at the Canon KZN Disabled Open, held at Mount Edgecombe Country Club's The Woods on 24 August 2021. He opened with an 83 and followed it with a 79 for a total of 162, finishing six shots clear of Charles Williams. In the overall Physically-Disabled Strokeplay, Robin Singh edged Namibia's Chris Wood on the first extra hole to take the title. |

| Jay-Jay Botha Runner-Up in Deaf Strokeplay at Canon Gauteng Disabled Open |
Jay-Jay Botha held a three-shot lead after the opening round but carded an 84 in the final round to finish six shots behind Charles Williams in the Deaf Strokeplay division of the Canon Gauteng Disabled Open at Zwartkop Country Club. Williams produced a superb comeback 75, highlighted by an eagle at the par-4 5th, to claim the title. In the overall Physically-Disabled Strokeplay, Robin Singh secured a three-stroke victory over Greg Esterhuizen for his third Canon Open Series title. |

| Jay-Jay Botha Wins Arizona Deaf Golfers Association Open by 11 Shots |
Jay-Jay Botha produced a dominant performance to claim the Arizona Deaf Golfers Association Open at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, Arizona, winning by a massive 11 shots. He opened with a 74 to take a one-shot lead and followed it with a superb 71 – the low round of the day by 10 shots – for a 36-hole total of 145, two shots better than his previous best. Botha credited his victory to regaining his mental edge: "I just played against myself and the course rather than against my competitors." |

| Jay-Jay Botha Leads South African Trio at 2021 Deaflympics |
Jay-Jay Botha led the South African Deaf Golf Association contingent at the 2021 Deaflympics in Caxias do Sul, Brazil, carding a 78 in the first round and an 82 in the second to top the team’s 36-hole strokeplay scores. Teammates Cedric Touzard (81-83) and Charles Williams (85-82) joined him in advancing to the matchplay round of 16, where all three were eliminated. SADGA Chairman Enver Hassen praised the trio for doing the association and South Africa proud, calling them among the best deaf golfers in the world and highlighting the rare honour of competing as Deaflympians. |

Jay-Jay Botha fired a superb 76 to take a commanding 29-shot lead over Albano Dos Santos in the Deaf Medal division after the opening round of the KwaZulu-Natal Disabled Open at Mount Edgecombe's The Woods course. His front nine was a steady 39, and he saved his best for the 17th with a birdie-3 to close out strongly in tricky conditions. David Watts leads the main event on 79, while Sebastian Crawford and Mike Emanuel are tied at 33 points in the Physically-Disabled Stableford. |

Jay-Jay Botha opened with an 86 to seize a commanding 14-shot lead over Donovan Stephenson in the Deaf Medal division after the first round of the Tshwane Disabled Open at Waterkloof Golf Club. He saved his best for the 16th, holing a birdie-3 to finish strongly. Kelvin van Baalen leads the Physically-Disabled Medal on 75, one shot ahead of David Watts, while Sebastian Crawford tops the Stableford section on 35 points. |

| Jay-Jay Botha Wins Tshwane Disabled Open Deaf Medal by 29 Shots |
Jay-Jay Botha produced a commanding performance to win the Deaf Medal division of the Tshwane Disabled Open at Waterkloof Golf Club by a resounding 29 shots over Donovan Stephenson. Starting the final round on the par-4 10th, he carded a solid 40 on his opening nine – highlighted by a birdie-4 at the 18th – to offset a double-bogey and three bogeys. On the inward nine he bounced back from another double-bogey at the 4th with a birdie at the 5th, then closed with two pars to complete an emphatic victory. The Deaflympian once again showed his class in the category. |
